Drug Traffic Stop

On April 14th, 2015, while on patrol in Blue Eye, Missouri, a Stone County Deputy attempted a traffic stop on a vehicle near Blue Eye School.  After a short pursuit with the vehicle, it stopped near the intersection of State Highway 13 and State Line Road.  During the traffic stop, the Deputy located approximately 18 grams of methamphetamine, loaded Kimber 45 caliber pistol, baggies and a scale.

The driver of the vehicle was identified as Tony Tipton, Jr, a 27 yr old male from Blue Eye.

On April 15th, 2015, Prosecuting Attorney Matt Selby filed the following charges on Mr Tipton:

Class B Felony Possess with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Substance

Class D Felony Resisting Arrest for a Felony

His bond has been set at $75,000.00 Cash only and he remains incarcerated at the Stone County Jail.

With this arrest, Stone County Deputies have seized over 52 grams of Methamphetamine in Stone County over the last seven days.
